Films and shows
At the Cité des sciences
The Cité presents films and shows in several different venues :
- The Géode. Equipped with a 1,000-square-metre hemispherical screen, the Géode presents stunning large-format films in Imax® or 3D, live broadcasts of shows and concerts, and special thematic programmes.
- The Planetarium. The largest planetarium in France (272 seats), with a state-of-the-art digital video system. Its programme features presentations of the solar system by astronomy specialists and spectacular immersive shows illustrating the science of the universe.
- The Louis-Lumière cinema. This two-screen cinema presents films in gripping 3D.
- The Cinaxe. A simulator-cinema that actually moves with the action.
