The universcience.fr website is jointly operated by the Cité des Sciences and the Palais de la Découverte for the new public institution formed by these two science culture centres.

 

 

The new portal provides access to:

 

• the new-look Cité des Sciences website, showcasing its programme of events, information for visitors and useful services for preparing a visit
• the Palais de la Découverte website
• a resources website featuring the online content of both institutions. It will eventually be extended to partnerships with other research bodies, cultural and audiovisual institutions, publishers, universities, etc.

•  Help users to prepare a visit

universcience.fr applies innovative techniques to present its programmes and services as clearly as possible: an interactive map and calendar for the Cité des Sciences, online ticketing, and access to services and information for all (including disabled and non-French-speaking visitors).

 

• Spark a lasting interest in science

universcience.fr features a range of quality services for all users, including web TV, document files and resources, news magazines, games, lectures and forums with experts, a space for children (Juniors) and a portal for teachers (Educ).

 

• Bring all parties together

universcience.fr will act as a link between all parties in the world of science: museums in France and around the world, regional cultural centres in France, research scientists, decision-makers, and of course the public. This website is first and foremost your website. Its new functions allow you to personalize your interface, comment on articles, put questions to experts, talk to other Internet users, and much more besides…
