Hot on the heels of the new Cité des Enfants for 2-7 year-olds, launched in December 2007, the Cité has opened an exciting new activity area for older children. Designed for all 5-12 year-olds who can read, this new Cité des Enfants offers them a fascinating introduction to science and technology. It's all play, action, and hands-on experimentation, with fun activities organized around six themes: The body, Communicating, The TV studio, The garden, Fun with water and The factory. In short, a wonderful adventure playground, in stylish and cheerful surroundings.

On the strength of past experience and its great popular success since it opened in 1992, the Cité des enfants has been remodelled and expanded!
The new permanent exhibition, now open to children ages 2 to 7, affords a special place to adults too. For the greater enjoyment of our children visitors, this unique space for active experimentation and exploration proposes a series of fun and educational activities divided into five thematic areas: I discover myself, I can do, I locate myself, All together, I experiment.
