Main opening hours
The Cité des Sciences is open Tuesday to Saturday from 9:30am to 6pm and Sunday from 9:30am to 7pm. We are closed on Monday.
Note: the Géode is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10:30am to 8:30pm, and some Mondays.
Specific opening hours
Several parts of the Cité – the Explora exhibitions, the library, the Cité de la Santé, the Cité des Métiers, etc. – have specific opening hours. They are listed below.
EXPLORA EXHIBITIONS*
Open Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 6pm, Sunday 10am to 7pm.
* The Explora centre contains the permanent and temporary exhibitions and the Planetarium.
CITE DES ENFANTS (CHILDREN'S AREA)
Sessions last 90 minutes (75 minutes during November and Christmas school holidays*).
Tuesday to Friday: sessions at 9:45am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, 3:15pm.
Saturday, Sunday: sessions at 10:30am, 12:30pm, 2:30pm, 4:30pm.
* Reservation strongly recommended during school holiday periods.

SHADOWS AND LIGHT EXHIBITION
Open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9:45am to 4:45pm, Wednesday and Saturday 10am to 6pm, Sunday 10am to 7pm.
During school holidays: open Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 6pm, Sunday 10am to 7pm
ARGONAUTE SUBMARINE
Open Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 5:30pm, Sunday 10am to 6:30pm.
CINAXE (MOVING CINEMA)
Tuesday to Sunday: 15-minute screenings from 11am to 1pm and from 2pm to 5pm.

GEODE (GIANT-SCREEN CINEMA)
Tuesday to Sunday: films are screened hourly from 10:30am to 8:30pm.

Open Tuesday to Sunday. Screenings every 30 minutes from 11am to 12 noon and from 2pm to 5pm (6pm on Sundays and during school holidays).
