Since 2008, more than half of the humain beings live in cities. Every second, 2 people add up to the urban dwellers. 

This global phenomenon has far-reaching consequences for our cities and hence for our lives. Many initiatives and innovative projects will help us meet this challenge. The goal of the Urban Mutations exhibition is to present a selection of them to the general public. The exhibition is being held at the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie to 5 March 2017.

Structured around three topics – Cities under pressure, Urban earth and Urban futures– the exhibition provides visitors with the chance to become actors in the cities of the future.
