Food safety concerns all of us!

Here are a few simple rules to improve food hygiene and avoid falling ill:

  • Wash your hands before eating
  • Never refreeze a defrosted product
  • Keep the temperature of your fridge between 4° and 6° C and make sure food is protected to prevent certain microbes developing
  • Clean out the inside of your fridge regularly
  • Wash fruit and vegetables before eating them
  • Keep an eye on food use-by dates
