The ocean, the climate and us, a fragile balance?

Climate change, which is partly due to human activities, affects the ocean, an important regulator of the climate. The effects are already being observed around the world: melting of continental and oceanic ice, rising water levels, acidification of the ocean, etc. and their impact on human society will increase over the next half century. We must anticipate and, in order to adapt, it is better to understand the ocean and its role in the climate so we can identify applicable solutions acceptable to the populations.
It is this close and fragile relationship between the climate, the ocean and us that this exhibition is focusing on.
