the curiosity of scholars, and regulated community life. It was worshipped
by the Ancients who dedicated numerous cults to it. Today, it attracts holidaymakers,
and also researchers who believe it is an inexhaustible source of energy.

des sciences et de l'industrie.
An exhibition presented
from 30 March 2004 to 30 January 2005
at the Cité des sciences et de l'industrie, Paris.
