Organizational structure

• The Board of Directors, composed of representatives of its member organizations, qualified personnel (all of whom are presidents or directors of large groups or of industrial or economic organizations), as well as the President of the CSI and the President of the Fondation de France, meets twice a year and defines the strategic orientations of the Foundation.
• The Orientation Committee and its board, composed of Communication and Research managers from member companies, initiates and coordinates projects in liaison with the FVE team.
• The president of the FVE is Louis Gallois, who is also president of Airbus and executive president of EADS. He is the successor of Jean-Marc Bruel (1995-2005), Arnault Leenhardt (1989-1995), Jean-Marie Descarpentries (1987-1989) and François Périgot (1986). The president of the CSI, currently Claudie Haigneré, is vice-president of the FVE.

The staff of the Fondation Villette Entreprises

Representing the Foundation's partners is a permanent staff with an excellent knowledge of both the business world and the science museum milieu, and which acts as an efficient liaison between the two.

In particular, its role is to handle :

• Relationships with member companies.
• Contacts with science museums and centres, including the CSI.
• Project proposals of a national or international character.
• Development of partnerships and the follow-up on projects.
• Budget management of membership fees.
• Search for new members.
• Organization of seminars, discussion groups, and study trips.
