Exhibitions initiated by the Cité

These exhibitions present the state of scientific and industrial knowledge on major subjects and topical issues likely to interest visitors of all ages, such as the environment, sustainable development, life sciences, and information and communication technologies.
They provide as comprehensive, objective, and balanced a view of the subject as possible, while making learning fun for visitors by involving them in hands-on activities.

These can take the form of permanent exhibitions, when the subjects do not change too quickly or when they deal with fundamental facts and methods of science and technology. In such cases, the Foundation is engaged in a partnership policy with the Cité, allowing for the renovation of permanent exhibition spaces, so as to update content and presentations. The Foundation also works together with the Cité on setting up temporary exhibitions.
