Appealing to science aficionados, first-timers and families alike, the Cité's bookshop-boutique aims to bring a love of science to all audiences and to help awaken their critical minds. After a period of renovation work, it has been completely redesigned using a sustainable approach (80% of the existing furniture has been reused, and the rest recycled). The 400 square metre space has been designed to be modular, reversible and responsible. To match the temporary exhibitions and the latest scientific research, the bookshop-boutique organises a wide range of events, including product launches, book signings and demonstrations.
