La sonde américaine Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter a entamé sa mise en orbite martienne afin de commencer la mission d'observation scientifique la plus étendue et la plus détaillée jamais entreprise de la planète rouge. L'occasion de revenir sur les grandes missions qui ont marqué l'exploration de la planète Mars.
