Specific Opening Hours
Certain areas of the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie (Exhibitions, Cité des enfants, Library, Cité de la Santé, Cité des Métiers, etc.) have specific opening hours. Check them here before coming over:
Exhibitions
Open from 10am to 6pm from Tuesday to Saturday and until 7pm on Sundays
The Cité des Enfants, Children’s area
Cité des Enfants 2-7 years area - 1h30 sessions. Booking recommended
- 4 sessions a day on weekdays except during school holidays and special days: 9:30am, 11:30am, 13:30pm and 15:30pm.
- 5 sessions a day on weekends, during school holidays and special days: 9:30am, 11:15am, 1pm, 2:45pm and 4:30pm.
In order to give an even more enriching experience for children, Cité des Enfants 5-12 area is undergoing a renovation and will be closed until the summer of 2025. In the meantime, you can visit our Children’s exhibitions such as Métamorphoses, Dance as well as the Cite des Enfants 2-7 area.
The Cité des Bébés
Closed for renovation. Opening date will be announced shortly.
The Planetarium
Check out show times on the Planetarium page. The Planetarium is available upon reservation with the Exhibitions ticket. Children under 2 will not be admitted.
The Argonaute
From Tuesday to Saturday, The Argonaute is accessible upon reservation from 10am to 6pm (last access 5pm)
On Sunday, The Argonaute is accessible upon reservation from 10am to 7pm (last access 6pm)
Access every 15 minutes, reserved to Argonaute-ticket holders (included with no extra charge in the Exhibitions or Cité des Enfants tickets). Children under 2 will not be admitted.
The Villette Congress Centre

The Villette Congress Centre welcomes the Canada Olympic House
From 27 July to 11 August from 11a.m. to 11p.m.
Canada Olympic House it’s a gathering place for family, friends and fans. A place where you can encourage and meet athletes, enjoy Canadian culinary specialties, fun activities and of course follow the performance of the Canadian team live on the big screens. A magnificent opportunity to experience the Paris 2024 Olympics Games the Cité in the heart of the Parc de la Villette.
Library of the Cité des Sciences et de l'industrie (BSI)
Open from Tuesday to Sunday from 12pm to 6:45pm.
The Cité des Métiers
Open from Tuesday to Friday from 12pm to 6pm. On Saturdays from 12pm to 6pm.Visit the Cité des métiers page.
La Cité de la Santé
Open from Tuesday to Sunday from 12pm to 6:45pm.
Digital Hub²
Open from Tuesday to Saturday from 12pm to 6:45pm. Closed on Sundays except on special event days.
